Course description
There are several possible threats for ships sailing in international waters, and that is why it is important to have an international standard to set the framework. The course provides a basic introduction to Maritime Security Awareness. This required standard of competence is set to enable all seafarers to contribute to the enhancement of maritime security through heightened awareness and the ability to recognize security threats and to respond appropriately.
