Masters at NIS vessels holding foreign certificates must complete this course in Norwegian maritime legislation as required by the NMA.Masters on Norwegian International Ships Register (NIS) vessels must be Norwegian or EEA nationals, or obtain a special exemption from the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA). Masters with foreign certificates must take a course in Norwegian maritime legislation and possess a valid Norwegian endorsement.
