Company Security Officer (CSO) - ISPS
This course is for personnel designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Company Security Officer (CSO)This course is in accordance with paragraph 2.1.7 (and paragraph 11) of the ISPS Code, Part A. The content and learning objectives are based on MSC/Circ.1154, "Knowledge, Understanding and Proficiency for Company Security Officers."

Target group
Personnel involved in security in shipping companies. First of all, Company Security Officers, but this is also vital competence for Quality Managers, Operation Managers, nautical- and technical Superintendents and Officers, Internal Auditors and Masters
Content
- Develop, maintain, and supervise the implementation of a Ship Security Plan
- Ensuring security equipment and systems are properly operated
- Assess security, risks, threats, and vulnerability
- Ensure appropriate security measures are implemented and maintained
- Encourage security awareness and vigilance
